What it does
Most data and AI projects don’t fail in the demo — they fail in month three of production, when the pipeline silently drops rows, the model drifts, and nobody can say what changed. ZemiData builds for month three from day one.
We design and build data platforms, pipelines, machine learning systems, and LLM-powered applications from the ground up — on Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and Azure — and we operate what we build until your team can. Every system ships with the unglamorous parts that make it survive: tests and CI, versioned releases with changelogs, health checks, staged rollouts, and rollback paths.
Everything we deliver is instrumented from the first deploy. Sessions, costs, and outcomes are recorded, so you get an audit trail and cost visibility as a property of the system — not a retrofit after the first incident. It’s the same discipline we run our own products on, because we run our own products in production.
The approach
- Production is the spec. A system isn’t done when the demo works; it’s done when it survives real users, real data, and real change. We build and test against that bar from the start.
- Instrumented by default. Every system ships recording what it does — who used it, what it cost, what it returned — so operating it never means guessing.
- Boring on purpose. Versioned releases, changelogs, health checks, rollback. Excitement in production is a defect.
- Handover, not hostage. We document as we build and design for operator independence — your team can run, audit, and change the system without calling us. (Most clients still do. By choice.)
